Dorothy Agnes Kennedy Simeroth, age 86 of Lexington, passed away, Wednesday January 30, 2013. Dorothy Agnes Shea was born December 15, 1926 in Purcell, 1 of 9 children born to Daniel William Shea and Helen Edmae (Dumas) Shea. She was raised in Purcell and attended Our Lady of Victory Catholic School. Dorothy married Claude Douglas Kennedy and they made their home primarily in the Purcell area, where they raised their children; sons Larry, James, Bill and Kenneth and daughters, Judy, Helen, Brenda and Pam. Dorothy was a hardworker and a good provider for her family. For years, she worked in health care as a nurse’s aide, all the while maintaining her home. In 1990, she married Robert Simeroth. Dorothy was a loving wife and mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt and a good friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by: Her husbands, Claude Kennedy and Robert Simeroth; Son, Larry Kennedy; Daughter, Judy Ann Coffey; Her parents, Daniel and Helen Shea; 2 Son-in-laws, Gale Johnson and Russell Garvin.This site may be freely linked, but not duplicated in any way without consent.
