Lee Ann Shobe passed away on January 5, 2022 in Jones, OK at the age of 63.
Lee Ann Workman was born on October 10th, 1958 in Bristow, OK the second of two children born to Lee Roy Workman and Billie Lorene (Smith) Workman. She spent her early years in Moore until her family relocated to the Washington area where she attended school, graduating with the Warrior class of 1976.
While working at Wal-Mart in the camera and photo center, Lee Ann noticed a young man who walked the store for exercise as he recuperated from a surgery. They struck up a conversation every time he passed her counter and they quickly fell in love. Lee Ann married Bill Shobe on New Year’s Eve of 1987 in Norman, OK. They settled in Oklahoma City and eventually relocated to Purcell in 1998. Lee Ann held a few odd jobs over the years but her heart and work truly resided at home. She loved all things Yorkie- she raised them and groomed them. Her favorite fur baby was a Yorkie named Sarah. The only thing better groomed than her dog, was her flower bed. Lee Ann was known as a “power shopper” who could always find the best deals anywhere. She was an active member of Lighthouse Worship Center in Purcell and always looked forward to seeing her church friends. Lee Ann was a beloved mother, wife, and grandma who will be missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lee Roy and Billie Workman.
Lee Ann is survived by her husband Bill of the Home. Her Brother Gary Workman and wife Felicia of Purcell. Her son Adam Williams and wife Leska of Purcell, and two grandchildren, Lainey and Elijah “Lil Boy”".
