Karrie Ann “Richardson” Shea, age 48 of Needville, Texas, formerly of Purcell, OK passed away after a short battle with cancer on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015. She passed away at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Karrie was an only child born to Randy Eugene Richardson and Catherine Ann Embry. Karrie spent her years growing up in Purcell and in Edmond. At a young age she married and had two daughters, Stephanie and Samantha. While her children were growing up she worked as a stay at home mom and homemaker. Most recently she went back to school and became a Certified Nurse’s Assistant and was currently working in a local nursing home in Texas. Throughout her life, Karrie enjoyed hobbies such as playing card games, bingo, working puzzles, crocheting, and writing poetry. In her later years she spent a lot of time on face book, keeping up with family and friends. She will be remembered as a special daughter and as a wonderful mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by: Father, Randy Richardson on June 23, 2006; Grandparents, Nellie Richardson, Rosalee and William Bryen; Several aunts and uncles;

She is survived by: Mother and step father, Cathy and Kenny Graves of Needville, TX; Two daughters, Stephanie Ramirez and husband Michael of Silverdale, WA, Samantha Shea of Lake Jackson, TX; Five grandchildren, Destaine, Bryce, Madyson, Chloe and Olivia; Step-grandparents, C. Duane Graves and Mary E. Graves of Stockton, MO. Two half-sisters, Rhonda Smart of OKC, Shawn Richardson of Noble; one step-sister, Honey Lee Michael of Purcell; one step-brother, George Glidewell of OKC; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell. Interment will be at the Hillside Cemetery in Purcell.
