Marsha Maria (Wallace) Shaw was born the fourth of seven children on January 9, 1952, to Kenneth George Wallace and Jettie Elizabeth (Dumas) Wallace. She grew up in Purcell, attending Our Lady of Victory Catholic School through the 8th grade, later graduating from Purcell High School in 1970. Marsha married John Lynn Shaw on January 23, 1970. They lived in Norman before moving to Moore 38 years ago. Marsha was a hard worker. While being a mother and homemaker she held several jobs outside of the home. She enjoyed making bead jewelry, learning about her Chickasaw Indian culture and heritage, camping, shopping, dancing, decorating and sewing. Marsha was a wonderful mother and grandmother, she was a great cook and she loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by: Her parents; Kenneth and Jettie Wallace, Her Grandparents; George and Susie Wallace and Joe and Rosie Dumas, Brother; Tim Wallace, Sister; Sheila Wallace.
Marsha leaves behind: Her daughter; Erica Neal and husband Randy of Trenton, OH, 2 sons; Travis Shaw of Moore, Scott Burson and wife Brandi of Choctaw, 1 sister; Kateri Longacre and husband Ronnie of Blanchard, 3 brothers; Mark Wallace and wife Joann of Purcell, Jim Wallace and wife Pam of Lexington, Joe Wallace and wife Angie of Purcell, 6 grandchildren, Lacie, Chasity and Kristine Neal, Preslie Shaw, Seth and Hanie Burson, Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other family members and many, many friends.
In lieu of flower, donations can be made to American Cancer Research in Marsha’s name.
