Santiago Vasquez Salazar died October 13, 2016 in Oklahoma City at the age of 85 years 28 days. 

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Monday, October 17, 2016 at Wadley's Funeral Chapel. 

Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery entrusted to the care of Wadley's Funeral Service.

He was born September 16, 1931 in Melchor Muzquiz Coahuila to Santiago Vasquez and Romana Salazar. Santiago married Guadalupe Hernandez on November 3, 1956 in Melchor Muzquiz Coahuila. He enjoyed riding horses and playing loteria.

Santiago is preceded in death by his father, Santiago Vasquez; mother, Romana Salazar; sister, Elva Vasques; brothers, Irineo Vasquez, Guillermo Hernandez; son, Santiago Vasques Hernandez; granddaughter, Jazmin Yeseli Ramirez Vasquez.

Survivors include his wife, Guadalupe Hernandez de Vasquez; son, Marco Vasquez and wife, Veronica Rodriquez; daughters, Romana and husband, Simon Jaime Ramirez, Iresema and husband, Miguel Balvantin, Lleseli and husband, Robert Gruver, Enriqueta and husband, Jose Antonio Sifuentes; brothers, Gustavo Vasquez, Federico Hernandez, Luis Hernandez; sister, Yeseli Vasquez, 14 grandchildren, 13, great grandchildren, and many other relatives.
