Graveside services for Mattie Helen Russell Grigsby, 88, of Bethany were
held Sept. 11, 2003.
 
Mrs. Grigsby died Sept 8, 2003.
 
She was born Jan. 29, 1915 in Purcell, the daughter of Frank Lee and
Elizabeth Baer Russell.  She remained in the Purcell area until the
mid-1960's.
 
Mrs. Grigsby was a member of the Nazarene Church in Bethany.
 
Survivors are:  a daughter, Carolyn Sands and her companion, Will
Bessinger, of Oklahoma City; five sons, J. B. Parks and his wife, Gwen,
of Oklahoma City, Marvin Parks of Noble, Billy Parks and his wife Tonia,
of Norman, Ronnie Beach of Purcell and Frank Beach and his wife Kim, of
Ninnekah; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
