Donna Yvonne (Duren) Rousey age 72, passed away unexpectedly Sunday October 29, 2017, in Mechanicsburg, PA.
Donna was born July 18, 1945, to Ollie Jo Plummer. She was reared in Purcell by her grandparents Richard and Clara Duren. She graduated from Purcell High School in 1963. She married Thomas Edwin Rousey in 1963. Donna and Thomas embraced the Navy lifestyle and lived in many placed including California, Cuba and Illinois until they eventually returned to Purcell. Together Donna and Thomas had three children, Thomas Edwin Rousey, Jr., Michael Joseph Rousey and Krystal Dyan Rousey. Donna was a hard worker that enjoyed employment at The University of Oklahoma, Home Health Care Services and United Drug. Donna was a long-time member of the Sunray Baptist Church in Purcell, OK. She enjoyed drawing, spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and kind heart. She loved drawing Disney characters, Reba McEntire and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
Donna was proceeded in by her mother Ollie Jo Plummer, grandparents Richard and Clara Duren, family members: Virginia Allen, Wanda Richardson, Billie Albers, Leta Baucom, Mitchell Duren, Randall Duren and best friend Joyce Butler.
Donna is survived by her children Thomas Edwin Rousey, Jr and wife Sheri of Pflugerville, TX, Michael Joseph Rousey and wife Vickie of Washington, OK, Krystal (Kristi) Dyan Spencer and husband Michael of Mechanicsburg, PA., brother Jimmy Duren and wife Shirley of Wichita, KS. Grandchildren: Camille Evans, Craig Evans, Derik Rawson and wife Megan, Kennedy Spencer and Zachary Rousey. She is also survived by a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Friday, November 3, 2017 at Sunray Baptist Church, Purcell, OK.
Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Purcell, OK. Arrangements are by Wilson-Little Funeral Home, Purcell, OK.
