GONE HOME

Reynolds, the infant boy of Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Rourke, aged four months, died on Thursday morning, June 20th, at three o'clock, after a lingering illness of many days.

The child was baptized and christened on Sunday preceding its death, Rev. S.G. Porter conducting the ceremony in the presence of a few friends.

The funeral took place from the residence on Thursday afternoon at four o'clock, a large crowd being present to testify their sympathy with the parents. A number of beautiful floral offerings covered the little white coffin, among them being an anchor of carnations, presented by the employees of the Santa Fe. The Santa Fe offices were closed at four o'clock and the force attended the funeral, Mr. Rourke being agent for the company at this place.

The funeral address was made by Rev. Holler, of the Presbyterian church. Masters Verdie Waite, Harold and William Hawk, Stockton Trudgeon and Vernon Dickard acted as pall bearers. Excellent music was furnished by a quartette composed of Misses Gail Miller, and Bessie Shannon, Messrs. Browning and A.H. Blanchard.
