Helen Maxine Reinhardt age 78 of Purcell, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at Sunset Estates Nursing Home in Purcell. She was born on September 20, 1935 in Rosedale, Oklahoma. She was the 7th child of eight children born to John Early Reinhardt Sr. and Cora Mae (Selman) Reinhardt. Helen grew up and lived in Rosedale with her family until she was 12 years old. Then in 1947 her family moved to Purcell where she remained living until her death. Helen had various jobs throughout her life, however her favorite job was working as a caregiver to her family. She enjoyed being outdoors and spending time driving around the country side with her sisters and brothers. She liked to work crossword and word search puzzles, embroidering and keeping her pet dogs. She was of the Baptist faith and she will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by: Parents, John and Cora Reinhardt; Two sisters, Cordelia Lawson and Mildred Qualls; Three brothers, Doyle Reinhardt, William Henry “Biggin” Reinhardt and John Reinhardt JR.; Three nephews, Jason Todd Reinhardt, Dowel Lawson and Willie Cross; Two nieces, Nancy Landers and Norma Stephens
She is survived by: One son, Ted Reinhardt of Norman; Two sisters, Jeanette Reinhardt of Purcell, and Clara Belle Cross of Norman; one sister-in-law, Terry Reinhardt of Purcell; also many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 30, 2014 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell.
