R. Don Reeves died January 9, 2015 at the age of 55 years 8 months 1 day. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:30 AM, Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel.

Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery under the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

 

Don was born May 8, 1959 in Phoenix, Arizona to Thomas and Imogene (Coats) Reeves. He was raised and attended school in Lexington, Oklahoma. Don worked many years as a plumber. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and going to the lake. Don was a avid sports fan, especially OU football, Thunder basketball and The Dallas Cowboys. He loved spending time with his family floating the river, or just hanging out. Don loved his grandchildren and spending time with them.


Don is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Imogene Reeves; and brother, Rodney Reeves.

Survivors include his children, Tommy Reeves-Scruggs and husband, Clint, Lisa Clary and husband, Robert, Steven Reeves and wife, Karley, Rebecca Rains; grandchildren, Bryndale Scruggs, Kade, Jace, Rory and Reed Clary, Jeron Reeves; siblings, Louise Webb and husband, John, Lajuana Messinger and husband, Steve, Karen Funk; sister in law, Brenda Krausse; wives and friends, Debbie Reeves Ward and Debbie Morton; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
