Rene Dominguez Rebeles, age 63 of Purcell, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, December 15, 2022. He was born June 26, 1959 in Santa Maria, Coahuila, Mexico. He was the youngest of 3 children born to Reyes Dominguez Gallegos and Rosenda Rebeles.
Rene grew up and went to school in Santa Maria, Coahuila, Mexico. He moved to Purcell, Oklahoma in 1980 and later started a family. Rene worked for numerous years doing ranch work. He also worked building horse trailers at Barrett Trailers.
When Rene was not working, he enjoyed fishing and just hanging out with family and friends. He enjoyed his trips to Mexico and loved spending time with grandkids. Rene was an excellent cook and he was known for his amazing tamales.
He is preceded in death by: Wife, Maria Magdelena Estrada Regalado; and his parents, Reyes Dominquez Gallegos and Rosenda Rebeles.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Dominguez, Brenda Dominguez, and Rosenda Dominguez all of Purcell and Rene Dominguez Jr. and wife Yesica of Acuna, Mexico; his brother, Isaul Dominguez Rebeles and wife Lucie of Acuna, Mexico; his sister, Silvia Dominguez Rebeles and husband Federico of Acuna, Mexico; 8 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
A Rosary Service will be at 6:00 pm, Monday, December 19th, 2022 at Little’s Chapel at Wilson Little Funeral Home in Purcell, Oklahoma. His funeral service will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Our Lady Victory Catholic Church, Purcell, Ok. Burial will be at the Hillside Cemetery in Purcell.
