Shelley Deann (Stone) McGehee age 42 of Lexington, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 16, 2015 at her home in Lexington. She was born April 10, 1972 in Sentinel, Oklahoma. She was the youngest child of Charlie Franklin Stone and Brenda LaRue (Jarrell) Stone. Shelley grew up in Lexington and graduated from Lexington high school with the class of 1990. After high school she attended cosmetology school at the Wayne Mid-America Vo-Tech. Shelley worked at various jobs throughout her life. She worked several years at Natures RX in Paoli, OK and she enjoyed being a consultant for Jamberry Nails. Shelley loved her family and especially loved her nieces. She was an animal lover and always enjoyed having pets, particularly a dog lover. She enjoyed collecting cook books and quilts. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by: Parents, Her mother LaRue in 2004 and her father Charlie in 2008;
She is survived by: Husband, Gary McGehee of the home in Lexington; One sister, Ginny Czarnecki and husband Randy of Paoli; One brother, Ricky Stone and wife Emily of OKC; Mother-in-law, Betty McGehee of Slaughterville; Father-in-law, Roy Whitington of Stratford; Two aunts, Helen Windgate of Clinton, Margaret Jones and husband Bud of Ada; Three uncles, Randy Stone of Maysville, Foy Jarrell and wife Stephanie of Mustang, Larry Jarrell and wife Brenda of Cordell; Four special nieces, Ashleigh, Hannah and Morgan Czarnecki and Amanda Manke also many other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, March 20, 2015 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell.
