Roy Manuel, age 74 of Stonewall, OK passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020.
Quenton Roy Manuel was born March 23, 1945 in Fresno, California, the 2nd of 13 children born to Vernie Rack Manuel and Ollie Evelyn (Yarberry) Manuel. He was raised primarily in Ada. Roy learned at a very young age, the value of hard work. By age 16, Roy had begun working for Johnson’s Auto Sales formerly of Purcell and this would lead to a very rewarding career in auto body repair. Roy was an excellent body man and was highly sought after. He was meticulous and a perfectionist, and his work always showed it. He worked for a time for Grayson Motors in Sherman-Dennison, TX, managing their body shop. He then decided to open his own shop, and he owned and operated Roy’s Auto Sales in Stonewall until his retirement. Roy spent 6 years serving his country in the Army National Guard and received an honorable discharge. Roy enjoyed spending time with children and grandchildren. He always made his family and friends laugh with his wonderful sense of humor. Roy was a wonderful father to his daughters, Lina, Lesley, and Stacie. He cherished his children and grandchildren. He has spent the last 25 years with is best friend and companion Sue. He will be dearly missed!
