Diego Estrada Luna died October 19,2020 in Purcell, Oklahoma at the age of 62 years 11months 6 days. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, October 26, 2020 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, with interment following at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell. Services are entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Diego was born November 13, 1957 in San Felipe, Guanajuato, Mexico to Refugio Estrada Ramirez and Tiburcia Luna Rangel. He was raised in Mexico, where he married Brijida Juarez in 1977. Diego worked as a farmer for 22 years and enjoyed the outdoors. He was a hard worker, and a loving husband, father, son, and grandfather. Diego loved to spend time with his grandchildren and his family; and hated taking photos. He enjoyed watching the news every morning and feeding his bunnies. His greatest pleasure in life was helping others in their time of need.
Diego is preceded in death by his father, Refugio Estrada and his sister, Ana Maria Estrada.
Diego is survived by his wife, Brijida Estrada Juarez; his mother, Tiburcia Luna Rangel; his sons: Carlos Estrada and wife, Sofia; Mario Estrada; his daughter, Maricela Estrada and husband, Juan Perez; his grandchildren: Alex Estrada, Yoselin Estrada, Anthony Estrada, Juan Perez, Yulisa Perez, Esme Perez, Damian Perez, Letty Estrada, Mario Estrada Jr.; his great grandchild Gabriel Perez; his brothers: Felipe Estrada and wife, Cirila Rangel; Juan Estrada and wife, Justina Romero; Andres Estrada and wife, Maria Socorro Estrada; Jose Estrada and wife, Sabina Aguinaga; Ascencion Estrada and wife, Rafaela Cervantes; Martin Estrada; 25 nieces and nephews, 1 great nephew; and numerous other relatives and friends.
