LEVERIDGE Lucille, age 80, passed away Friday, September 8, 2000. She was born to William Sherman and Effie Jane Leveridge on April 9, 1920 in Fort Worth, Texas. Lucille graduated from Dibble High School in 1938 and Hills Business College before beginning her career. Lucille retired in 1985 as a Bookkeeper for Burger Brother's Meat Company. She had served the Lord for seventeen years at Primitive Baptist Church when the Lord directed her to Gospel Celebration Fellowship to be the leader of the Community Outreach for the next seven years. Lucille loved birds-cardinals were her favorite, and she loved to bake pies. Her famous Italian cream cake became the major, "money-maker" at a church fundraiser. Lucille will be remembered for her positive attitude and straight forward, blunt responses. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Lucille is survived by one son, Buddy McKinnon and wife, Sharon, of OKC; one grandchild, Debbie Lee Brewer and husband, Rob of Jones, OK; three great grandchildren, Joshua, Lacy, and Dylan Brewer; and a host of other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bud and R.G. Leveridge.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM. Tuesday, September 12, 2000 in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Oklahoma City with interment following at 12:00 noon in Hillside Cemetery in Purcell, Oklahoma.
