Lancaster,
Charlene L., 86, passed away Monday, February 6, 2012 in Norman,
Oklahoma. She was born June 9, 1925 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Richard and
Ila (Kirkland) Grant.
Charlene enjoyed crocheting, cooking for her family and gardening. She
loved birds and always had bird feeders and hummingbird feeders. She
was very interested in politics, foreign affairs and women's rights.
Charlene is survived by two sons, Jonathan Lancaster of Sacramento, CA
and Jeffrey Lancaster of Fairfield, CA; two daughters, Sherri Banks of
Norman and Diana Riddle and husband Terry of Tulsa; four grandchildren,
Kimberly Banks, Gregory Banks, Matthew Riddle and Megan Hart.
She is
preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Nelce Martin Lancaster;
grandson, Stephen Riddle; three brothers, Calvin Grant, Jerry Grant and
Richard Grant; and one sister, Ozell Repass.
Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Saturday, February 11,
2012 and 1:00 - 8:00 p.m., Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Havenbrook
Funeral Home .
Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 13, 2012 in the
Chapel of the Havenbrook Funeral Home with interment following in
Hillside Cemetery, Purcell, OK.
Arrangements for Charlene and her family were placed in the care of the
Vice Family at Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
