Nancy Belle (Estes) Hibbs died August 4, 2018 in Midwest City, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years 7 months 18 days.Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, at the Newcastle United Methodist Church in Newcastle, Oklahoma.
Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell, Oklahoma entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Nancy was born December 17, 1943 in Norman, Oklahoma to Halsey Herbert and Gladys May (Smith) Estes. She was raised and attended school in Purcell, Oklahoma. On June 4, 1961, Nancy married David Hibbs in Purcell. She continued her education, majoring in accounting. Nancy worked as a tax preparer for H&R Block for 40 years. She loved spending time with her family. Nancy enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and working with ceramics. She was an amazing artist, both painting and drawing. Nancy was a gifted seamstress, making her kids clothes for years. She enjoyed baking especially her amazing cookies.Survivors include her husband, David Hibbs of the home; son, Kenneth Hibbs of Mansfield, Texas; daughter, Linda Hibbs Corbin and husband, Russ of Newcastle, Oklahoma; daughter Tamara Queen of Meeker, Oklahoma; son, Darrell Hibbs and wife, Shelly of Mustang, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jon, Heather, Travis, Justin, Wesley and Lauren; great grandchildren, Raistlin, Aries and Miles; brother, Bill Estes of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
