Keith Michael Hedrick age 20, of Purcell passed away following an auto accident on Saturday, July 26, 2014. He was an only child born to Kevin Brett Hedrick and Carol Ann Mullikin. Keith grew up in Purcell and graduated from Purcell High School with the class of 2013. While in high school he played football, he was on the track team and enjoyed being in drama class. He had just completed one year at the University of Oklahoma studying Energy Management. He was currently taking a summer class and working two part-time jobs, at Logan’s Road House and at Chips and Ales in Norman. Keith had a passion for music. He loved listening to music and going to live concerts whenever he could. He even liked to collect guitar picks of his favorite bands. He enjoyed being outdoors and most recently enjoyed playing league softball with his friends. Most of all he loved being around his friends and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his kind and soft spoken personality, and for his warm and friendly smile.
He was preceded in death by: Great Grandparents, Coleman Hedrick, Lilly Bonner, Clarence and Pearl Cook and Naomi and Emmitt Pierce; A Grandfather, Weldon Hedrick;
He is survived by: Mother, Carol Hedrick of Norman; Father, Kevin Hedrick of Purcell; Maternal grandparents, Jim Lee of OKC, Peggy and Mike Pollay of Arizona; Paternal grandparents, Nolah and Jack Furbee of Purcell; Two aunts, Wendy Hedrick of Purcell, Teri Bourdeau and husband Jim of Tulsa; One uncle, David Mullikin and wife Sheri of Edmond; Six cousins, Seth and Louis Bourdeau, Nicole Zucker, Mauralise, Alliana and Shiloh Mullikin; Numerous 2nd cousins on the Bonner family side, And a host of friends, classmates and co-workers.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Purcell. Interment will be at the Hillside Cemetery in Purcell. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to “giveforeward.com”. Arrangements are with Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell
