Wanda Kay Hayhurst (72) left this life on March 7th, 2021.
She was born in OKC on October 12, 1948 to William Roy Agy and Helen Ruth Grimes. She married Daniel Robert Hayhurst Sr. Wanda worked in the food service industry as a restaurant manager the majority of her life at Taco Tico and then Braums. She then moved to retail and worked at Walmart for the remainder of her working days. Wanda enjoyed reading books and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, late husband, sister Ginger and Aunt Susie.
She is survived by her sons: Daniel Robert Hayhurst Jr. and wife Diana, and Christopher Roy Hayhurst; brother Tony Agy and wife Margaret; granddaughters, Autumn, Katelyn, Brooklyn and Lyrah; grandsons, Alexander and Nycolas; great-granddaughters, Allison and Galaxy; nieces, Shalene and Shannon; nephews Kevin and Calvin.
Wanda will be missed dearly and for all that knew her and loved her. We will cherish all the memories we had together. We have strength and comfort knowing she is no longer in pain and in a brighter place.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 16th at 2 PM at Highland Hills Baptist Church.
