She was born January 15, 1940 in Norman, Oklahoma. Judy was one of three children born to Kenneth and Evelyne Conley. She grew up in Norman and graduated from St. Joseph Catholic High School. Judy later established her home in Purcell where she raised five children. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing golf throughout her life at the Purcell Golf Course with her family. The Purcell Golf will always hold a special place in Judy’s heart. After the death of her son Brent Bruehl in 1976, the course was renamed to the “Brent Bruehl Memorial Golf Course”. In 1993 she won the Club Championship with the Purcell Women’s Golf Association the same year that her son Bobby won the men’s club championship. Judy also loved the OU Sooners and for the past several years had become a loyal OKC Thunder fan. She loved being in the outdoors and especially enjoyed gardening. She loved antiquing and had owned her own antique shop in Norman for several years called “Judy’s Attic”. Later in her life at the age of 50 she attended the University of Oklahoma and was proud to make the Presidents Honor Roll.
