Victoria Ann Gonzales,
59, of Blanchard, died Thursday, December
20, 2012 at her home. The daughter of
Archibaldo and Geneva Mae (Moses) Gonzales,
she was born September 25, 1953 in
Chickasha, Oklahoma. Victoria was a member
of Holy Name Catholic Church in Chickasha
and after she became ill, the First United
Methodist Church in Blanchard.
She worked
for many years as a sales representative for
Savage Pharmaceutical Company. Most
recently, she was a self-employed water and
wetland conservationist. She was a member of
the Blue Thumb and Sierra Club.
Victoria was preceded in death by her parents, Lt. Col. Archibaldo Gonzales, Retired and Geneva Gonzales; and an infant son, Julian Gonzales.
She is survived by one daughter, Sara Gonzales of Norman, OK; one sister, Mary Gonzales of Delaware, OK; two nieces and their husbands, Christina Maxey and Justin of Delaware, OK and Rebecca Barta and Nathan of Yukon, OK; a special friend, Brenda Calaway of Blanchard, OK; and many other loved ones and friends.
Funeral Mass
will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 22,
2012 at the Holy Name Catholic Church in
Chickasha.
In lieu of flowers, memorial
donations may be made to Integris Nazih
Zuhdi Transplant Institute, 3300 N.W.
Expressway, Oklahoma City, OK 73112 or the
Sierra Club, 85 Second Street, 2nd Floor,
San Francisco, CA 94105.
