Gualberto “Beto” Gonzales, Jr., age 52 of Purcell went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 5, 2016 surrounded by his family.

Beto was born July 5, 1963 in Worland, Wyoming the oldest of five children born to Gualberto Gonzales, Sr. and Maria Rosa (Vela) Gonzales. Beto grew up in Tipton, Oklahoma and graduated from Tipton High School with the class of 1982. After high school he began working as a truck driver and lived in Altus, OK until 1988 when he moved to Yukon, OK. While living in Yukon he met and later married the love of his life, Julye Tinnin. They were married on February 17, 1990 in Purcell and remained living in Purcell where they raised two sons, Gabe and Adam. For the past 25 years Beto worked as a truck driver for Colley and Company in Pauls Valley. While his sons were growing up, Beto supported them in their sporting activities and was a proud Band Parent. He began coaching Gabe when he was five years old and continued coaching Purcell Little League Football until Adam was grown. Beto loved his family and he loved the Lord with all his heart. He was a member of the Heaven Bound Pentecostal Church of God in Norman where he was a Deacon and taught the young married Sunday School Class. Beto loved music and played the guitar at church. His life-long hobby was weight lifting and keeping in shape. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by: Father: Gualberto Gonzales, Sr.

He is survived by: Wife, Julye Gonzales of Purcell; Two sons, Gualberto Gabriel Gonzales of Purcell, Nicolas Adam Gonzales of Purcell; Mother, Maria Gonzales of Altus; Two brothers, Guadalupe Gonzales and wife Kathy of Altus, Armando Gonzales and wife Rachelle of Altus; Two sisters, Oralia Garcia and husband Romualdo of Durant, Olivia Fixico and husband Chuck of Altus; Mother-In-Law, Karen Smith of Pauls Valley; Many Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces & Nephews, Cousins, Brothers and Sisters-in-laws, and a many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 10 AM Tuesday, March 8th, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Purcell. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell. Arrangements by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell. Send online condolences@wilsonlittle.com
