Kenneth was born September 18, 1941 in Purcell. He was the oldest

Kenneth grew up on a dairy farm, located north of where the Purcell Hospital
is today. As a young man he learned how to work hard and he kept that same
work ethic throughout his life. He attended Purcell schools and graduated
from High School with the class of 1959. Kenneth later met and married the

Wayne area. Kenneth first worked at the Purcell Post Office, later he
delivered milk for Estep Dairy in Purcell and Borden's Milk out of Norman.
Then in 1968, he went to work at Tinker Air Force Base and remained there
for 24 years, retiring in 1992.
After retiring from Tinker, Kenneth had various other jobs over the 10 years in the Purcell area. Throughout his life, Kenneth enjoyed fishing, hunting and raising sheep. While his children were growing up, he raised and sold show sheep. And he helped his children raise and train their sheep while in FFA. Most of all, Kenneth loved gardening and especially enjoyed raising roses.
