Connie Embry, age 54 of Lexington, passed away Friday, August 2, 2013. Constance Georgenia Williams was born November 16, 1958 in Blackwell, OK, the 7th of 8 children born to David Otto Williams and Virginia Lucille (Rinehart) Williams. She was raised in Purcell and attended Purcell Schools. Connie married her best friend and true love, David Eugene Embry on December 20, 1974 in Gainesville, TX. They made their home primarily in Lexington, where together they raised 4 children; son, Branden and daughters, Joni, Tenia and Dee. Connie worked as a waitress for many years at local favorite, Ruby’s Inn. She loved people and greatly enjoyed just visiting with people. Connie cherished her family and looked forward to family get togethers and cookouts. She especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. She loved watching The People’s Court and Judge Judy and never missed an opportunity to sing karaoke. She was a wonderful wife and mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a good friend. She will be dearly missed!

She was preceded in death by: Her parents, David and Virginia Williams; 3 brothers, Terry, Tommy and Dennis Williams and Her sister, Skeeter Rebuck.

Connie leaves behind: Her husband, David Embry, of the home; Her son, Branden Embry and wife Krystal of Waxahachie, TX; 3 daughters, Joni Embry of Lexington; Tenia Embry of Wayne and Dee Embry of Lexington; Her brother, David Williams and wife Laura of Maysville; 2 sisters, Viola Embry and husband Steve of Lexington and Paulette Wilhoit and husband Eddie of Coweta, OK; 9 grandchildren, Erika and Jalen, Jackson, Hailee and Dylan, Brannon, Bryce, Jace and Alex and Many nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Hillside Cemetery.
