Chase Cornelius age 24, of Wanette, formerly of Purcell, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019 following an automobile accident.

Phillip Chase Cornelius was born November 1, 1994 in Oklahoma City. He was the younger of two children born to Randy Leroy Cornelius and Johna Marie (Ballard) Cornelius. Chase grew up in Purcell and attended Purcell schools. While in high school, he played football, basketball and baseball.

Chase loved being outdoors and working with his hands. For the past six years he had various jobs, but mainly worked in Construction. Throughout his life he has been an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting and fishing with his dad and his buddies. Chase loved life and had a great sense of humor. He was funny and loved to laugh and have fun. He loved animals and he especially loved his dogs. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by:

Grandfather, Ralph Cornelius,

Grandparents, Phillip and Mary Ballard.

He is survived by:

Parents, Randy and Johna Cornelius of Wanette,

Sister, Alayna Cornelius of Norman,

Grandparents, Theda Cornelius Lowry and Tony Lowry of Konawa,

Four uncles, Ralph and Carolyn Cornelius of Purcell,

 Keith Cornelius of Wanette,

Scott and Cheryl Balland of Edmond,

ack Ballard of OKC.

Several cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday, June 28, 2019 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell. Officiating will be Pastor Troy Wright.

Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell.

Chase will be carried to his final resting place by his father, four uncles and his cousin. Send online condolences @wilsonlittle.com.
