Andrea Gale Cole age 42 of Purcell passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 following an auto accident.
She was born on September 25, 1970 in Purcell, OK. Andrea was the youngest of four children. Her parents were Howard Gale Harper and Barbara Gail (Davis) Trogdon. Andrea grew up in Purcell and graduated from Purcell High School in 1989. While in H.S. she was a life guard at the Purcell Swimming Pool, a member of the High School Rodeo Association. After high school she attended East Central University in Ada where she received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Social Work and Mental Health. While there she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. Years later she worked on her masters in Counseling. Andrea loved helping others and worked many years as a Social Worker for the Dept. of Human Services in McClain Co. Years later she worked for the Oklahoma Security Commission. Andrea married Bennie Joe Cole on September 2, 2003. Together they made their home in Purcell while she enjoyed being a stay at home wife. Andrea loved to travel with Joe while he was on work related jobs out of state. She grew up enjoying riding horses and later playing golf. Some of her favorite times were going to family get-togethers and spending time with her family. Because she never had children of her own, she was especially close to her nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell.
Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell.
