Tammie Scharlene Brumfield was born September 4, 1961 in Purcell, the youngest of 3 daughters born to Russell Joel Brumfield and Leatrice Joy (Lockmiller) Brumfield. Tammie was raised in Purcell and attended school there. She worked mainly as a secretary throughout the years, retiring from the Department of Agriculture. Tammie married Bob Chada and to this union, a daughter, J’Koa Dawn was born. Tammie faced many medical challenges throughout the years, and yet she always remained positive. She was a great mom and aunt. She became increasingly curious with genealogy, and at one time managed a website, www.okcemeteries.net. Tammie loved the Lord, and enjoyed good ole Gospel music and she cherished her family and friends. She will be dearly missed!
