Bill A. Cantrell, 76, of Purcell died Thursday, March 1, in Norman
Bill was born June 13, 1930, in Vanalstyne, Texas, to Benjamin C. and Dessie Bell Chapman Cantrell.
He married Joyce Davis in 1950, and later Elizabeth “Liz” Beaver Perigo Aug. 24, 1973, in El Reno.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters, and a son-in-law.
He is survived by his wife Liz Cantrell of Purcell; children Bill W. Cantrell and wife Mindy, Anita Brown and husband Kelly; stepchildren, Bobby Perigo and wife Alta, Carol Stapp and husband Lester, Nancy Enox, Sherri Sikes and husband Connie; sister Sarah Cantrell; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. today at Trinity United Methodist Church in Purcell. Officiating will be the Rev. Doyle Sharp. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell.
Memorials may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church in Purcell or to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
Arrangements are by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
