Jennifer Bayless, age 55 of Purcell, passed away Monday, September 28, 2020.
Jennifer Lynne Carroll was born December 16, 1964 in Purcell, one of two children born to Jim and Louise (Andrews) Carroll. She attended school in Wayne, graduating with the Bulldog Class of 1983. Jennifer married Larry Tompkins, and to this union two children, daughter Jill, and son Jeff were born. Jennifer was a very active mom. She loved following her children in all their various activities and sporting events. She never missed a game, and was the “ultimate” ball mom. Through the years, she became a grandmother, and her grandchildren then became her greatest joy. Jennifer later married Tracy Bayless, and they made their home in Purcell. Together they owned a commercial cleaning business, TJ’s Cleaning. Jennifer also worked with her sister-in-law, Cindy, at Auntie Mae’s in Purcell. She loved garage sales and flea markets, and she and Tracy traveled all over looking for treasures. She was the ultimate antique dealer, although she preferred “junker”. Jennifer enjoyed the simple, everyday blessings, like sitting in her chair and watching the kids, and playing with her fur baby, Macie. She believed in hard work, taking care of others, and her faith was strong. She loved the Lord and reminded her children, to keep the kids in church. She was a wonderful wife and daughter; the best absolute best mother and grandmother; a sister, aunt and friend.
She will be dearly missed!Jennifer is survived by: her husband, Tracy Bayless of the home; daughter, Jill Lee and husband Cody of Moore; son, Jeff Tompkins and wife Hilary of Asher; Parents, Jim and Louise Carroll of Wayne; Brother Allen Carroll and wife Jacinda of Wayne; Step children, Ryan Bayless of Moore and Hannah Bayless of Purcell; Three grandchildren, Jaxson Lee, Hailey Lee and Jace Tompkins; Niece Erin Bowen and Luke Carroll and a host of other family and friends.
Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 2, 2020, at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell. Send online condolences @ www.wilsonlittle.com.
