Mrs. Ethel Auld Dies At Home of Daughter
Funeral rites were held Wednesday afternoon from the Yoakum funeral chapel for Mrs. Ethel Auld, Rev. Dovie George officiating.
Mrs. Auld died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S.O. Tippit, on February 6 at the age of 63 years. she was born November 15, 1876.
She is survived by two sons and four daughters, all living in Purcell or nearby communities. J.B. and R.B. Auld, Mrs. Fay Troutman, Mrs. Etta Hays, Mrs. Mae Judson, and Mrs. Tippit.
Casket bearers were E.J. Thomas, Arthur Sparlin, W.C. Biggerstaff, and M.A. Ward. Interment was made in Hillside cemetery.
