A rosary service for Frank J. Anhalt was held Tuesday evening February 28, 1967, in the Yoakum Memory Chapel and Mass was held Wednesday morning, March 1, 1967 in Our Lady of Victory church, with Father John Wade officiating. Interment followed in Hillside cemetery.
Frank J. Anhalt was a long-time resident of this area. He died Sunday February 26, 1967 in the McCurdy Memorial hospital at the age of 81. He was a native of Iowa but had lived almost all of his life in Oklahoma.
He is survived by three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Val Anhalt and Mrs. Joe Marcotte, both of Purcell: Mrs. Albert Lawrence, Salina, Kan; two brothers-in-law, Leo and Bill Moisant, both of Oklahoma City; and a number of nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers were Eldon Dumas, Earnest Dumas, Roy Moisant, J.B. Marcott, Lester Yoakum and Billy Moisant.

Funeral services for Mary Idamae Anhalt were held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, November 23, 1956 at Our Lady of Victory church with Father Kenneth Fulton officiating. A rosary service was held Thursday November 22, 1956 at 8 p.m. in the Yoakum church chapel. Interment was in Hillside cemetery under the direction of the Yoakum funeral home.
Mary was born in Purcell, September 23, 1889 and died at her home Tuesday, Nov. 20 at the age of 60. She was married on July 19, 1921 to Frank J. Anhalt. The couple resided on route 2, Purcell.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Dolphus Dumas of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Albert Lawrence of Salina, Kan., Mrs. Joe Marcott and Mrs. Val Anhalt, both of Purcell; two brothers, Leo Moisant of Blanchard and Bill Moisant of Oklahoma City.
