Chad Cheek Wise, age 35 of Lindsay, passed away Saturday, August
16, 2014. Chad was born December 23, 1978 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was one of
five children. His parents were Wesley Raye Cheek and Tommie Gayle (Richardson).
Chad spent his early years living in South Carolina and in Mississippi. At the
age of 12, his family moved to Lindsay where he remained living today. Chad
married at a young age and started a family at a young age. During his working
years he worked in the oil field and later as a carpenter. He loved being
outdoors and enjoyed working with his hands building things. He also enjoyed
fishing, going to the river and cooking out with his family and friends. Lately
he enjoyed spending time with his boys playing golf. He will be dearly missed by
all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by: His daughter, Melody Grace Wise and His
Grandmother, Carrie Belle Branch.
Chad leaves behind: His mother, Tommie Wise of Lindsay; His father, Wesley Buddy
Cheek of Altus; Six children, Christian Wise of Blanchard, Dalton Mahaffey of
Lawton, Joe Clapp of OKC, Jay Weldon Wise and Bronson Wise, both of Lindsay,
Elizabeth Wise of Maysville; 2 step-daughters, Ashley Johnson and Jasmine
Johnson, both of Lindsay; Sister, Stephanie Fuller of Lindsay; Two ½ brothers,
Jay Kent Cheek and Weldon Dean Cheek, both of England; Several aunts and uncles,
nieces and nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Graveside Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 20,
2014, at the Greenhill Cemetery in Lindsay, OK. Arrangements are by
Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
