Graveside services with military honors for Charles Ralph White will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, OK with Bro. Burgie Thompson officiating. Charles passed away March 30, 2017, in Sawyer, OK at the age of 83.

Charles Ralph White was born November 5, 1933 in Manitou, OK to Ralph Verdie & Ruby Lucille (Lindsey) White. Charles married Bettie Ray on April 1, 1961, and they shared 56 wonderful years of marriage, having lived in the area since 1997. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Charles was a member of Sawyer Baptist Church in Sawyer, OK; he worked as a maintenance supervisor in the oil industry, as well as working for the Army Corps of Engineers at Virgil Point (Hugo Lake) for 8 years. He was an inventor and a professional piddler; he would help anyone in need, loved to mow, fish, and be outside, and was as ornery as can be. Charles was a member of the Masonic Lodge 248 of Lindsay, OK and a 62-year member of the American Legion.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, James Robert White, Lawrence Wayne White, & Joseph Edward White.

Charles is survived by his wife, Bettie White, of the home; one son, Charles Michael White & wife, Jill, of Montgomery, TX; two daughters, LuAnn Terral & husband, Will, of Ada, OK and Connie Huffman & husband, Todd, of Yukon, OK; one brother, Donald White of Oklahoma City, OK; his grandchildren, Tyler Huffman & wife, Carissa, Jordan Huffman, Ashley King & husband, Evan, Kyla Traverse, Zachery Break & wife, Natasha, Blaine Break & wife, Erika, Ali Terral, & Paige Terral; seven great-grandchildren, as well as a host of other family & friends.

Family will receive friends Friday, March 31, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo, OK.
