Mathilde Raney, age 94, of Norman, passed away November 13, 2020. She was born June 18, 1926, in Arnstorf, Germany, to the late Anton and Ottilie Süss. Mathilde grew up in Arnstorf, moving to Munich at age 18, and she later immigrated to the United States with her husband, James Polk Raney.

In addition to her parents, Mathilde was preceded in death by her husband; and four sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Julie Beck; granddaughters, Robyn Beck and Randi Beck Ocena; grandsons, Ryan Beck and Lake Beck; one great-granddaughter, Elianna; and her niece, Sonja List of Arnstorf.

Visitation will held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, 2020, at Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 23, 2020 at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Troy Madden. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma.
