Frankie Eugene “Nudge” Wade, 88, of Blanchard, died Monday, January 4,
2016, in Blanchard. The son of Charles Guss Wade and Minnie Francis
(Richey) Wade, he was born April 25, 1927 in Criner, Oklahoma.
Nudge was a veteran of the U.S. Army and owned and operated a tire shop
in Oklahoma City for many years. He enjoyed playing poker and riding
motorcycles. He loved to sit and talk with friends and enjoyed telling
stories.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife and mother of his
children, Opal Bernice Wade; one son, Glen Nelson; one daughter, Darlene
Haynes; three grandchildren, Guy Wade, Shari Haynes, and Shanda Brock;
three brothers, Ernest Wade, Leon Wade, and J.C. Wade; and two sisters,
Madge Holt and Lorene Mallory.
Nudge is survived by three daughters, Debbie Wilkins and her husband,
Larry, of Oklahoma City, Patty Nelson of Oklahoma City, and Rita Wade of
North Carolina; one son, Darrell Wade, of Cole; twelve grandchildren,
Haskell Brock, Regina Brock, Shawn Jorski, Frankie Wade, Tyler Wade,
Chuck Wade, Lee Wade, Carrie Wade, Patricia Leftwich, Glenn Nelson,
Pamela Bruce, and Nicki Harkelroad; thirty-four great grandchildren;
several great-great grandchildren; one sister, Retha McKinney of Texas;
one brother, Bob Wade of California; and many other loved ones and
friends.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 12, 2015 at
the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Cremation arrangements
are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
