Earline Pearl Sharp, 82, of Dibble, died Saturday, April 20, 2013. The daughter of James Earl and Clara Laura (Moore) Elam, she was born July 8, 1930 in Dibble.

 
Earline grew up in Dibble and attended Dibble Schools where she played basketball and graduated as valedictorian of her class. She married Kay F. Sharp on May 6, 1953 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Earline attended business school and earned an accounting degree. She worked for FAA for many years until her retirement in 1986. After retiring, she was very active in the Dibble Schools where she worked as a substitute teacher and a library aide. Earline served as a McClain County 4-H leader for over 15 years and was a member of the Dibble Free Will Baptist Church. She also volunteered many hours for the McClain County Election Board. Earline was an excellent cook and was always baking and preparing meals for her family and friends. She also enjoyed sewing and working in her flower and vegetable gardens. Earline loved spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mary Talley; her daughter, Ramona Nation; and a brother-in-law, Pug Keeler.
 
Earline is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Kay Sharp; two sons, John Sharp and Trisha, and Gary Sharp and Shonda; six grandchildren, Jeremy Nation and Cynthia, Lori Morris and Rodney, Kacey Harris and Houston, Kaylee Smith and Randy, Chelsea Sharp, and Ashton Sharp; eight great grandchildren and two on the way; and one sister, Esther Keeler, all of Dibble; and many other loved ones and friends.
 

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Dibble Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Lewis Cox officiating. Interment will follow in the Dibble Cemetery. Kay F. Sharp, 91, of Dibble, died Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at his home. The son of Hyrum Kirk Sharp and Lizzie Olive (Barker) Sharp, he was born March 22, 1927 in Cooperton, Oklahoma.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Kay worked for over 30 years at Tinker AFB as a shipping supervisor and retired in 1986. He married Earline Pearl Sharp on May 6, 1953 in Las Vegas, Nevada and they were married nearly 60 years. He was Christian in faith. Kay was involved with both 4-H and the FFA and was named as an honorary chapter farmer. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, gardening, and checking the cattle with his granddaughter. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Earline Pearl Sharp; daughter, Ramona Nation; eight sisters, Mable, Edna, Minnetta, Zola, Eliza, Greta, Odessa, and Ollie; and two brothers, Sylvan and Bobby.

Kay is survived by his two sons, John Sharp and his wife, Trisha, of Dibble and Gary Sharp and his wife, Shonda, of Dibble; six grandchildren, Jeremy Nation of Norman, Lori Morris and her husband, Rodney, of Dibble, Kacey Harris and her husband, Houston, of Blanchard, Kaylee Smith of Dibble, Chelsea Sharp of Dibble, and Ashton Sharp of Dibble; eight great grandchildren, Shayla, Mikera, Montanna, Kayson, Jaxxon, Baylen, Hudson, and Hunter; one sister, Laverne Martz of Bethany; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, January 17, 2019, at the Dibble Free Will Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in the Dibble Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
