Richard Raymond “Rick” Mullamphy, 76, of Blanchard, died Saturday, May 30,
2015 in Copake, New York. The son of Dennis Mullamphy and Catherine (Dwyer)
Mullamphy, he was born December 19, 1938 in New York, New York.
Richard worked for St. Francis Hospital in Beacon, New York as an electrician.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was very proud of his
service to his country. He was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in
Blanchard. In his spare time, Richard enjoyed listening to 50’s music,
collecting movies, and could fix anything with a tube of caulk and a roll of
duct tape.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Daniel Mullamphy; and one
daughter, Doreen Baggatta.
Richard is survived by; his wife, Laurie Mullamphy of Blanchard; his
stepchildren, Mindy Horsey and her husband, Jack, of Dibble, Melanie Ouellette
and her husband, Bill, of Connecticut, Missy Fields and her husband, Jim, of New
York, and Matt Stevens of Dibble; sixteen grandchildren, Gene, Autumn, Chad,
Tony, Jeremy, Grayham, Michael, Erik, Jennifer, Jackie, Nicholas, Marissa,
Matthew, Sydni, Tyler, and Laila; six great grandchildren, Axel, Jake, Logan,
Memphis, Dalton, and Kate; three sisters, Eileen Klarr and husband, Richard, and
Catherine Liebscher, all of Texas, and Elizabeth Radino and husband, Jules, of
New York; five brothers, Dennis Mullamphy of New York, Kenny Mullamphy and wife,
Alice, of Florida, Brian Mullamphy and wife, Joyce, Terry Mullamphy and wife,
Mary, and Shaun Mullamphy, all of New York; numerous nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Pleasant
Hill Baptist Church in Blanchard. Burial with military honors will follow in the
Dibble Cemetery.
