Connie Sue (Lasenberry) England
Oct 19, 1962 - Aug 24, 2014
Posted by: Ann Weber

Eisenhour Funeral Home
Blanchard, McClain CO, OK
(permission granted)

Connie Sue (Lasenberry) England of Dibble left her earthly home on August 24, 2014 at 51 years of age. She was born October 19, 1962 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Lawrence and Darlena (Hood) Lasenberry.

She was a proud member of the Absentee Shawnee Tribe and enjoyed participating in her tribal customs. She lived in Oklahoma City until her tenth birthday, when her family moved to Newcastle. After her high school graduation, she moved to Casa Grande, Arizona to attend college, but missed her mother and family so much that she was soon back home in Oklahoma. The night of her 18th birthday, she met Randy England. It didn’t take her long to figure out that he was the love of her life. They were married May 23, 1981 and had 33 wonderful years of marriage. Connie has said many times that her greatest accomplishments in life were the birth of her sons Randall Blake and Adam Joe. Her family was the most precious and cherished part of her life. Connie suffered many years with RA and other health issues, but she never let it get her down. She always said, “you have two choices…lay down and cry or laugh,” and she seemed to always find something to laugh about when it came to her health problems.

She loved playing softball, running track and Tae Kwon Do. She had to give up playing sports because of her health, but she enjoyed watching her sons, nieces, nephews and granddaughters play.

In her later years, Connie enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the lake house, fishing, sewing, beading, reading, genealogy and going to Loretta Lynn concerts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Darlena; two brothers, Larry and Bobby; her half-sister, Darlene; one niece, Brandy Sue; her father-in-law, Junior England; and two nephews, Cory England and Josh Watkins.

Connie is survived by her loving husband, Randy, of Dibble; two sons, Blake England and Lacey Dobbs of Dibble and Adam England and his wife, Danesa, of Dibble; her mother-in-law, Mamie England of Dibble; her step-mom, Dorothy Lasenberry of Sulphur; two step-sisters, Jeannie and Jan; two granddaughters, Tyla and Haylee; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and her ever faithful and constant companion, Maddie Shay.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Midway Baptist Church in Dibble. Burial will follow in the Dibble Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
