Jan 17, 1977 - Dec 26, 1994Funeral services for Cory Brandon England were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday December 28, 1994 at Dibble High School. Pastors Mike and Lewis Cox officiated at the service and interment was in the Dibble Cemetery under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard.
According to medical examiners, the 17-year-old died of a brain aneurysm Monday, December 26th, 1994. Fears turned out to be unfounded that he died from spinal meningitis that had just one week earlier claimed another life.
Cory was a native of Dibble and was a junior in high school there. He was on the Dibble baseball team and enjoyed the rodeo. He was also a member of the Midway Baptist Church.
He is survived by his parents, Jerry Ray and Tamara England, his sister, Brandy, of the home; grandmothers, Marie Massey and Mamie England, both of Blanchard; aunts and uncles, Jerry and Carol Massey, their children, Chris, Jared and Nick, all of Oklahoma City, Glenda and Phillip Bass and their children, Mark, Mike and Lori of Blanchard, Roger and Paulette England and their children, Brand England, Darlene Morris, Scott, Jeremy and Mika of Dibble, Randy and Connie England, Blake and Adam of Dibble, Calvin and Portia, Tanner and Jake of Dibble and others Relatives.
Cory was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Glen Massey and Junior England.
Pallbearers were Kenny Tolman, Brian Elmore, Brad Thompson, Bobby Long, Mat Cox and Gary Waitman.
Honorary pallbearers were Larry Paul Bridwell, Jerry Mayfield, Paul Waitman, Clint Merrick, Scott Caroll, Brad England, Jeremy Trotter, Chris Jerod and Nick Massey and Mark and Mike Bass.
