Eisenhour Funeral Home
Blanchard, McClain CO, OK
(permission granted) Thomas Leon Boyd passed away from this earth on July 22, 2015 to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was born March 1, 1946 in Minco, Oklahoma to Roy Thomas and Iva Ruth (McNeil) Boyd.

As a young man, he began raising a family of three wonderful children, John, Donna, and Becky. He began a career working for the Rock Island railroad in 1975 and retired from the Union Pacific railroad in 2006. After retirement, he enjoyed farming with his lifelong friend, Ted Swanson. Thomas enjoyed spending time with family and western dancing with his friend, Maxine, three to four nights a week. He also enjoyed attending Crossroads to Life Baptist Church in Blanchard and The Cowboy Church in Chickasha. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends. With many tears, we say, not “goodbye,” but “so long, Dad, Grandpa, Tom...until we meet again. We love you.”

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Iva Ruth Boyd.

He is survived by his son, John Boyd and wife, Wendy, of Dibble and their children, Kash and Ford, and also, a grandson, Zach Boyd; his two daughters, Donna Wooten and husband, Burl, of Blanchard and their daughter, Britnie, and Becky Lee and husband, Rodney, of Dibble; one brother, Freddie and wife, Janice, of Caruthersville, Missouri and their children, Billy, Ricky, and Bobby; one sister Mary Ruth Siller and husband, John, of Minco; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Dibble Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.comm.
