Donna Marie Steelman, 64, of Blanchard, died Saturday, July 16, 2016, in
Norman, Oklahoma. The daughter of Ransom Berlin Casey and Ira Bell (White)
Casey, she was born October 22, 1951 in Oklahoma City.
Donna married Clarence Wayne Steelman on July 10, 1971 in Norman, Oklahoma. In
her spare time, Donna enjoyed cooking, sewing, decorating her home, and working
in her yard. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family,
especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and infant sister, Rosemary Casey; a
sister, Wanda Hamilton; and a brother, Roy Casey.
Donna is survived by her husband of 45 years, Wayne Steelman of Blanchard; one
daughter, Melanie Effinger and husband, Herbie, of Blanchard; one son, Kevin
Steelman and wife, Jessica, of Chickasha; three grandchildren, Lacey England and
husband, Blake, of Dibble; Parker Effinger of Blanchard, and Shelby Steelman of
Chickasha; one great grandson on the way; three sisters, Lavern Vail and
husband, Pete, of Norman, Linda McDonald of Blanchard, and Sue Franklin and
husband, Allan, of Blanchard; two brothers, Austin Casey of Blanchard, and
Ronald Casey and wife, Rose, of Blanchard; numerous nieces and nephews; and many
other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Christ Chapel
Free Will Baptist Church in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Dibble
Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of
