Loretta Maxine Mackey was born November 24, 1933 in Morris, OK, the 4th of 7 children born to Arlie Claude Mackey and Vertie Marie (Lewis) Mackey. In her younger years, Loretta’s family settled in Midwest City where she graduated from high school in 1951. Loretta married to Ted Reynolds, and to this union, 3 children were born. She worked hard to provide and help her family as a secretary in the oil and gas industry. She later met Jimmy Richard Mullins. They were married on March 25, 1977 in Banner, OK, and two families became one. They first made their home in the Norman area before buying a farm and moving to Dibble. Loretta was a determined woman, always learning and always pursuing her interests. She returned to school and obtained a Bachelors of Education degree from USAO in Chickasha.
