Kenneth Moore age 78 of Purcell, passed away on December 20, 2023.

Kenneth Dwight Moore was born to Levie Jerry Thomas Moore and Carmen Inez Moore (Ledbetter) in Chickasha, OK. Ken grew up in the Dibble area and attended school there, graduating with the class of 1964.

He was introduced to a young lady named Patricia Ann Shawn in a hay barn, and they quickly fell in love. They were married on December 10, 1965 and shared 58 years together.

Ken began working at a young age and was a self-made man. He was an entrepreneur and owned several businesses over the years, which afforded him many opportunities to travel and see the world. He worked in construction, metal buildings, and microwave tower installation and maintenance.

Ken enjoyed Fox news and never missed a chance to partake in “Fine Dining” at local establishments. He was a man of great faith and was a proud member of Fountains of Faith Church in Purcell. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents Levie and Carmen Moore, his brothers Bob Moore, Larry Moore and his half siblings Delbert Moore, Lorene Brownen and Louise Rewak.

Ken is survived by his wife Pat of the home, his children Jeffrey Moore of Lexington, and Tammy Waldron of Tuttle. His siblings Ron Moore and wife Virgina of Weslaco, TX, Jerry Moore of Nashville, TN, Alma Elam of Lindsay, and Caren Brewer of Yukon. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, Daniel Hoelting, Adam Hoelting, John Waldron, Autumn Moore, and Gavin Moore.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday December 27, 2023 at Fountains of Faith Church in Purcell, OK with burial to follow at Dibble Cemetery.
