Patsy Koerner, age 79 of Dibble, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021.
Patsy Louise Neugent was born July 23, 1941 in Okla. City, OK, the 3rd of 6 children born to C.M. and Wilma (Sims) Neugent. Patsy spent her early years in Minco and later Okla. City, graduating from Capitol Hill High School with the Class of 1958. She married her best friend and the love of her life, Joe Koerner Sr on November 7, 1970. At that time, Joe was working as a terminal manager, and so the family moved around a bit. Eventually they settled near Dibble where together they raised their three boys, Chris, Joe and Pat. Patsy worked as a supervisor at her uncle’s business, Ray’s Janitorial Service for a few years, but her greatest joy was her family. Patsy’s life revolved around her boys and she was never happier than the day she became a grandma. She traveled the state from Ag Shows to baseball games, softball and band, high school and college, and she enjoyed every minute of it. One could say she was a true “Ball Mama”, and “she walked a lot of sheep”. Patsy loved just being around people, and volunteered at the Senior Center in Dibble for many years, as it was more than just a hobby for her. She was a woman of great faith and leaves a lasting legacy for her family and friends. She will be truly missed!
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Joe Koerner Sr; her parents, C.M. and Wilma Neuguent and two sisters, Wanda Higgins and infant, Joanna Neugent.
Patsy is survived by: her boys, Chris Koerner and wife Toni of Purcell, Joe Koerner and wife April of Norman and Pat Koerner and wife MaryKay of Dibble; Sister, Carolyn Hedrick of Dibble; two brothers, Jimmy Neugent and wife Sally of Midwest City and Danny Neugent and wife Lynette of Okla. City; 13 grandchildren, Joey, Jordan, Rachel, Bobby, Izzy, Kameron, Kaycee, Sierra, Aaron, Vanessa, Jazmine and Justin; 10 great grandchildren, Harper, Emma, Kylie, Ashton, Cooper, Colin, Cameron, Grayson, Zaleigh and Fisher, and a host of other family and friends.
