Funeral services for Mildred Forbes were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 27, 2000 in the Chapel of Guardian Midtown Funeral Home with burial in Dibble Cemetery  at 12:30 pm. under the direction of Guardian Midtown. 

Mildred Estel Smith was born March 10, 1926 in Dibble , OK, to Claude E. and Dora Wells Smith and died November 24, 2000 in Oklahoma City at the age of 74. 

Survivors include her husband, Henry Forbes; daughters and sons-in-law, Jammie and Bob Setterfield, Connie and Harold Jackson; and daughter, Sheri Melton; sister and brother-in-law, Betty Jo and D.L. Frizell; and a sister, Ruth Johnson; 3 grandchildren, Shawn and Kara Jackson and Trae Johnson.
