Theodore ““Wayne” Fisch, age 63, of Blanchard, OK, departed from this earth on August 12th, 2023, to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ.

Wayne was born on April 22, 1960, in Wichita, Kansas, to Theodore John Fisch and Patricia Ann Baum Fisch. He attended Kindergarten through first grade in Haysville, Kansas, before moving to Yukon, Oklahoma, in 1967, where he graduated from high school in May 1978. He was a member of FFA where he raised and showed steers. During high school, he worked for George Payne as a farmhand.

Two weeks after graduating from Yukon High School, he began working for Topographic Engineering in Oklahoma City, where he remained employed until his passing. In May of 2023, Wayne was honored for his 45 years of service to the company. Throughout his tenure at Topographic Engineering, Wayne held positions as a Draftsman, Project Manager, and Senior PLS Surveyor. From December 1978 to February 1980, he worked on a special power line project in East Texas. In the fall of 1980, he spent time in Midland, Texas, on a special project before returning to Oklahoma. On July 2, 1993, Wayne received his PLS in Oklahoma. On July 22, 1994, he received his Kansas PLS, and most recently, on November 27, 2021, he obtained his Missouri PLS. He was member of the National Society of Professional Surveyors.

Wayne enjoyed golfing, bowling, softball, reloading ammo, rebuilding computers, playing the fiddle and guitar, and singing. He cherished playing computer games with his nephews and entertaining his nieces and nephews with his animal sounds, instruments, and siren imitations. He eagerly anticipated his annual family trips and golf tournaments in Ruidoso, New Mexico. He had a deep appreciation for all sports, with a special fondness for OSU football. As a season ticket holder since the early 1980s, he attended numerous bowl games over the years. Wayne was an avid OSU fan and made yearly contributions to the OSU Posse. He also took pleasure in motorcycle rides with his brother, sisters, and friends. He embarked on various trips across Oklahoma and road trips to Arkansas and South Carolina. Additionally, he participated in various benefit rides. Among the motorcycles he owned throughout his life, his 2005 bright orange Honda Goldwing held a special place in his heart due to its OSU orange color. Wayne was also a devoted fan of Hank Williams Jr., attending several of his concerts. In his 20s, he and a group of friends worked as bouncers at Graham’s Central Station on weekends and during numerous concerts, earning them the nickname “The Wild Bunch.”

Wayne's infectious smile and sense of humor uplifted those around him. He displayed remarkable generosity and cared deeply for his family and friends. He left a positive impact on many lives and will forever be missed in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore John Fisch and Patricia Ann Baum Fisch, and two nephews, Brett Dwayne Brown and Christopher Michael Suiter. He is survived by his sister Lenora Pace and her husband Jim Pace of Hammond, Louisiana; sister Kathy Suiter and her husband Jeff Suiter of Midland, Texas; sister Rachel Ridge of Blanchard, Oklahoma; brother Mark Fisch of Blanchard, Oklahoma; and sister Brenda Hedrick of Blanchard, Oklahoma; as well as aunts, uncles, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The pallbearers will be his nephews: Jim Pace, Brandon Hedrick, Michael Fisch, Jonathan Suiter, Joshua Fisch, and Nathan Fisch. Serving as heavenly pallbearers are Brett Brown and Christopher Suiter. Pastor Blythe Wilson will officiate the Funeral Service.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard, Oklahoma.

The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel.
