Thomas Ray “Tommy” Doshier, 63, of Blanchard, died Thursday, December 30, 2021, in Norman. The son of Lee Edward Doshier and Mary Jean (Merritt) Doshier, he was born July 8, 1958, in Barstow, California.
Tommy married Marion “Mary” Rowden on June 5, 1978, in Anadarko. He worked in the oilfield for several years, then worked at a few other jobs before finding his calling in the funeral business. He went to work for the Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard in 1992 where he worked until his death. During his almost 30 year career, he assisted with countless funerals and respectfully handled his duties bringing deceased individuals into the care of the funeral home. Tommy was a loyal employee and a trusted friend to many in the area. He loved being a part of the Eisenhour Funeral Home family and his absence will leave a huge void. Tommy was a hard worker, had a heart of gold, and above all else, he deeply loved his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on his lawnmowers, going to the casino, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Linda Brown and JoAnn Carter.
