Wendy Lorena Paiz Cortez, 22, of Oklahoma City, died Monday, April 3, 2017, in Oklahoma City. The daughter of Joel Paiz Fajardo and Kledy Orbelina Cortez, she was born May 22, 1994 in Retalhuleu, Guatemala.
Wendy graduated from Emerson High School in Oklahoma City and was currently working for Hetronic USA in Oklahoma City.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Maximiliano Cortez Morales and Julian Paiz.
Wendy is survived by her mother and stepfather, Kledy Cortez and Donald Pearce of Alex; her father, Joel Fajardo Paiz, of Guatemala; two brothers, Yeri Alexael Paiz Cortez and Anderson Joel Paiz Cortez, both of Guatemala; grandmothers, Juana Fajardo, of California and Maria Angela Cortez of Guatemala; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; and many other loved ones and friends.
Graveside service and burial will be held at 3:00 P.M., Friday, April 7, 2017 at the Dibble Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
