Russell Mullican age 59 of Newcastle, passed away on May 17, 2023 in Wheeler, Texas.
Russell Kevin Mullican was born in Los Angeles, California to Koleeta Mullican (Brown) and John Mullican II on October 28, 1963.
The family made their way back to Oklahoma in 1965 settling in Newcastle where Koleeta soon after married Willis Kirkham. Russell and his older brother John grew up in Newcastle and loved helping Willis on the farm and spending time outside.
Russell had a rebel spirit which often landed him in trouble, but it also made him who he was. He was a one of a kind and overcame much adversity in life. Russell was a jack of all trades who could weld, fix anything, and enjoyed time spent on the road. Regardless of what life threw at him he was always ready to lend a helping hand and he never took more than he needed.
Russell was always a ladies’ man, but he was first and foremost a Mama’s boy. In recent years, Russell had worked in the Pilot Car business and hot shot driving for the oil industry. He deeply loved his family and his furry companion, Princey 2. Russell was a beloved brother, son, friend, and uncle who will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents Willis and Koleeta Kirkham, John Mullican II, his brother John Mullican III, and nephew John Mullican IV.
He is survived by his daughter Patricia Geeslin and husband Seth of Utah, his nieces and nephews Cody Scott, Jamie Lin Wright, Emilee Mullican, Taylor Mullican, Breanna Mullican, and November Mullican, and his grandchildren Hunter Grace Geeslin and Vivian James Geeslin. He also leaves behind great nieces and nephews Saige, Jaylin, Ridge, Brylee, Lilly, Calla, Finley, Jaxyn, Maeve, Jolee, Taylor Jr., and Hudson.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Tri-City Cowboy & Country Church in Newcastle, with burial to follow at Clopton Cemetery. Send online condolences at www.wilsonlitle.com
