Glen Ray Prewitt of Byars, Oklahoma was born November 9, 1942 in Mill Creek, Oklahoma to Robert and Opal (Ham) Prewitt.
He passed away at his home North of Stratford at the age of 77 years 4 months and 23 days.
He grew up in the Byars/Stratford area. He married Linda Kay Williams on September 22, 1960 in Konawa, Oklahoma. He worked as a brick mason and they raised livestock on their farm north of Stratford. He loved and trained horses. He was a member of the Byars Pentecostal Holiness Church where he used his voice and talents for the Lord.
Preceded by: his parents Robert and Opal Prewitt.
Survived by: his wife; Linda of the home. One daughter: Angela Rogers & husband Mark. One son: Warren Prewitt all of Byars, Oklahoma. Two grandchildren: Abby Rogers and Chance Prewitt. Two sisters: Lafleeta Hefley of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and Katherine Cottrell of MO.
Services; 11:00 AM Tuesday April 7, 2020 at DeArman/Pickard Chapel Stratford, Oklahoma. Officiating; Rev. Frank Trent.
Burial will be in Byars cemetery Byars,Oklahoma.
Guidelines for Services are only 10 at family request may attend funeral at chapel.
Glen will lay in state from Monday morning at 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM no more than 10 at a time can enter to sign and view. Thank you.
